Electric Compass LLC today announced the launch of its
Enterprise Navigator™ turn-by-turn navigation software for
use with rugged and enterprise-grade handheld mobile
computers.
Enterprise
Navigator is optimized for fleet and business use. It
provides complete turn-by-turn GPS navigation capabilities
including route guidance with voice prompts for maneuvers,
automatic route recalculation and address entry by numerous
means.
Enterprise
Navigator is designed to be integrated with fleet and
workforce mobility software such as proof-of-delivery, field
service management and direct store delivery. It features an
application programming interface that allows it to be
easily integrated with existing workforce mobility solutions
to allow seamless navigation functionality. For example, if
a field service technician receives a work order to conduct
a task at a specific address, the address can be passed
automatically to Enterprise Navigator without the need for
the technician to enter it manually. Enterprise Navigator
also offers streamlined licensing to simplify fleet
deployment. The Enterprise Navigator API supports both .NET
and C++.
Enterprise
Navigator provides extensive coverage for the USA, Canada,
Mexico, Brazil, Europe, Southern Africa, GCC states, Saudi
Arabia, New Zealand and Australia. Screen text and voice
prompts are available in over 25 languages including
English, German, French Spanish, Portuguese, other European
Languages and Arabic.
Enterprise
Navigator is offered to end-user customers through a global
